Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, condition changes, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and self-care
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the patient record and support accurate handoffs
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Support emergency response and facility protocols when needed

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license (able to practice in Georgia or as required by the facility)
• BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour shift lengths
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered skills
• Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Patient assessment and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and prioritization skills
• Strong bedside manner and family education capability
