Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients within the scope of LPN practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team promptly
Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure timely care
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
Follow facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control practices

Qualifications

Active LPN license (practical nurse) in Georgia or eligible for state licensure
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with medication administration, patient assessments, and documentation
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/VN) program or diploma

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and basic nursing care skills
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
Basic wound care and vital signs monitoring
Team collaboration, time management, and patient-centered communication
