Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care following plan of care and facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, documenting per policy
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical changes, reporting concerns promptly
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care team members to coordinate excellent patient care
• Maintain clear, timely charting and documentation in the patient record
• Support patient and family education with a kind, professional approach

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (practical nurse) — Georgia licensure preferred/required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain per facility policy
• Comfortable with medication administration, documentation, and basic clinical assessments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Professional, dependable, and patient-centered attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Charting in electronic health records and accurate recordkeeping
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
