Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients within scope of LPN practice
Administer medications, treatments, and document patient responses accurately
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and allied staff to deliver safe, coordinated care
Support patient comfort, education, and discharge planning with clear communication
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (ability to obtain Georgia license if not already held)
Recent clinical experience as an LPN preferred
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass required background checks, drug screens, and credential verifications
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN)
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing skills: medication administration, wound care basics, vital sign monitoring
Comfortable with electronic charting and basic documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy hospital environment
Teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff
Situational awareness and timely escalation of clinical concerns
