Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and closely monitor patient status
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
Collaborate with nurses, providers and care teams to implement patient plans
Perform assessments, record observations and escalate changes in condition
Support admission, discharge and transfer processes to ensure smooth patient flow
Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions

Qualifications

Valid LPN license (practical/vocational nursing) — Georgia licensure strongly preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with 12+ hour clinical shifts and hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Professional, dependable, and patient-focused mindset

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Wound care basics and infection control procedures
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation skills
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
Patient/family education and bedside manner
