Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with respect and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
• Measure and document vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient charts and care plans
• Support safe patient transfers and proper use of mobility aids
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain infection control practices and follow facility policies and procedures
• Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and team members to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

• Valid LNA license/certification (New Hampshire) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or must obtain upon hire if required by facility
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings or immunizations
• Comfortable with patient lifting and safe body mechanics
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
• Previous experience in a long term care or acute setting a plus; new graduates encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and current LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical team
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs during a shift
• Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems is helpful
