Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide basic bedside care and compassionate support to patients
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the RN or physician
Administer medications and document administration accurately
Perform wound care, collect specimens, and assist with treatments
Maintain clear, timely patient records in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Valid California LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) license in good standing
Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous hands-on patient care experience is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing program (required)
High school diploma or GED (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing skills: vital signs, medication administration, wound care
Familiarity with infection control and basic safety protocols
Comfortable with EMR/charting and maintaining accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced setting
Compassionate patient interaction and effective teamwork
