Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients with attention to dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote a safe, clean environment
- Participate in care planning and contribute meaningful observations to improve outcomes
- Build rapport with patients and families, offering clear communication and reassurance
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous hands-on patient care experience preferred; new grads welcome to inquire
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- Vital signs monitoring and basic patient assessment
- Wound care and basic procedures common to long-term care
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
