Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care and observations clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, support staff, and leadership to deliver excellent clinical outcomes
- Support residents with ADLs and promote individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license (practical nursing) in Pennsylvania or eligible for state licensure
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and infection control principles
- Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced care setting
