Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes promptly
- Document care in the chart and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program or equivalent
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Compassionate patient care approach and reliable clinical skills
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and infection prevention techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting
