Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 05-04-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (specific start/end times and scheduled days to be provided by hiring manager)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in line with care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and promptly
Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to the care team
Document care, observations and communications clearly and timely
Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver holistic care
Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient dignity and independence
Participate in team huddles and contribute ideas to improve resident care

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact license where applicable)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Demonstrated clinical competence and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred but not required

Education

LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic assessment skills and infection control procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
