Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients following care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and response to interventions
Collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Perform thorough shift handoffs and communicate changes in patient condition promptly

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; Georgia licensure or ability to obtain license in Georgia
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and managing the physical demands of clinical care
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Compassion, excellent communication, and teamwork attitude

Education

Vocational nursing diploma, LPN certificate, or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Skilled at patient assessment and recognizing changes in condition
Clear and timely clinical documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with clinical teams
Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus
