IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)
Location: Stockton, California
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, on-call required with 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in the Cath Lab and IR suites
- Operate Siemens/Phillips imaging equipment and Merge Hemo system
- Assist with complex cases including Impella, IABP, laser, rotablator, and IVUS
- Provide critical care during STEMI interventions and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety at all times
Qualifications
- Registered Technologist (ARRT) required
- Fluoroscopy certification required
- Experience with coronary, balloon pumps, and Impella preferred
- Ability to respond to on-call within 30 minutes
- Comfortable with critically ill patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Merge Hemo system is a plus
- Skilled in critical care patient management
- Proficiency in sterile technique and radiation safety
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
