IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of interventional radiology procedures including GI/GJ tubes, ports, angiograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, nephrostomy tubes, stents, IVC filters, and blood patches
- Assist physicians during neuro endovascular procedures such as embolizations, stents, and stroke treatments
- Operate Philips Allera and Medrad injector equipment with precision and care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR and DR PACS systems
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs and physicians to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Uphold sterile technique and radiation safety standards in a Level I trauma environment
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Active Arizona MRTBE-CRT license required
- Level I trauma experience is a must
- VI certificate preferred but not required
- Scrub experience preferred
- Neuro experience a plus but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Cerner and DR PACS systems
- Experienced with Philips Allera and Medrad injector
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced trauma setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
