Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 12-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips
Collaborate with healthcare support techs and nurse aides
Manage patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed with appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required for submittal
Willingness to adhere to artificial nail policy

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac drip titration
Telemetry interpretation skills
Proficiency with GE monitors
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
