Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients on assigned shift
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and follow-up
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
Experience in telemetry nursing preferred
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work per-diem daytime shifts, including single-day assignments
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Must meet facility onboarding requirements (immunizations, background check)

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Graduation from an accredited nursing program required

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
IV therapy and medication administration best practices
Patient assessment and acute care nursing skills
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and care teams
Familiarity with electronic health records and timely documentation
Ability to prioritize and respond in fast-paced clinical situations
