Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team, and document interventions
• Support safe patient transfers and fall prevention practices
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in shift handoffs and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the chart

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Valid authorization to work in California and meet state-specific requirements
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care is a plus
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including the night of April 12, 2026 to April 13, 2026

Education

• High school diploma or GED; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and safe lifting/transfer techniques
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Basic infection prevention and wound care awareness
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
