Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures accurately and compassionately to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide attentive patient care during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the exam
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CT equipment while following strict radiation safety protocols
• Prepare patients and clearly explain procedures to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff for timely, accurate imaging and reporting
• Document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum: 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with medical staff
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking, dexterity for equipment operation)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support accurate imaging
• Proficiency in CT imaging techniques, protocols, and radiation safety
• Patient-centered care and infection control practices
• Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity for precise positioning and operation
• Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with the care team and patients
