Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams with precision and care
Operate CT and X-ray equipment like a pro
Prepare and administer contrast media including IV injections
Ensure top-notch quality control and uphold core values
Prep patient rooms, equipment, and supplies for seamless procedures
Contribute to the service excellence mission in a bustling trauma center

Qualifications

Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from California Department of Health Services
Approved CPR certification
ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
Desired: Two years in diagnostic x-ray, one year in CT, ARRT license, venipuncture certification, advanced CT certification

Education

Two years experience in diagnostic x-ray desired, one year in CT desired

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough grasp of cross sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, radiographic exposure
Expertise in quality assurance, radiation physics, protection, and radiobiology
Skilled in CT exams, X-ray equipment, and intravenous contrast injections
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with intelligence to handle specialized techniques
