Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active state registry or ability to register in California (preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Ability to pass background and health screenings per facility policy
Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Basic clinical skills: measuring vitals, assisting with mobility, charting
Team-oriented approach and the ability to follow care plans
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
