Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
• Provide accurate, timely vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics
• Document care performed clearly and professionally in the patient record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
• Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical activity during a 12-hour day shift
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven basic nursing care skills and patient handling techniques
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and observe/report patient changes
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
• Basic charting and documentation skills
