Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Support safe and comfortable transfers and mobility for residents
Assist with meal service and ensure hydration and nutrition needs are met
Maintain accurate basic documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and ability to meet facility credentialing requirements
Demonstrated ability to provide kind, patient-centered care; experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current CNA certification (state-required)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of ADLs, basic patient care and infection control practices
Comfortable with lifting/transfers and safe resident handling techniques
Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting and observation skills; ability to follow care plans
Attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced care setting
