Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Apply principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and facility policies
Provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and use appropriate databases

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license required
Current BLS certification required
At least 1 year of long-term care experience required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Proficiency with PC and clinical software

Education

BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in electronic health records and clinical databases
