Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Support infection control and facility safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Previous experience as a CNA is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count too

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and vital sign collection
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good observational skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient status
Teamwork, reliability, and a positive bedside manner
