Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean patient environment
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and families to support coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active authorization to practice in Georgia (state certification or reciprocity as applicable)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Dependable, compassionate, and able to work a 12.5-hour shift schedule

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
Accurate vital signs measurement and charting
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes in patient condition
