Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting
Assist residents with mobility and safe transfers, promoting independence
Take and accurately record vital signs and other routine observations
Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition promptly
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices
Support interdisciplinary team communication and follow care plans
Accurately document care delivered in resident records and charts

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (state of Pennsylvania preferred)
Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Reliable, compassionate, with strong attention to resident safety and dignity
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of personal care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and control practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
Basic charting and documentation skills
