Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and positioning using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate resident records and communicate clearly with the care team
Help create a welcoming, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — ready to work in Maine
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Dependable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care
Comfortable working in a fast-paced long-term care environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Attention to detail and reliable time management
