Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Take and report vital signs and observe patients for changes in condition
Document care accurately and communicate important updates to the nursing team
Support individualized care plans to help patients maintain dignity and independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
Build positive relationships with patients and families through clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
Prior experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs and observational skills
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Charting and basic documentation
Infection prevention and control practices
Empathy, patience, and effective communication with patients and teammates
