Shift Type: Per Diem, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (Night)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, mobility, and personal care tasks
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and charting
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
Comfortable working overnight/night shift hours
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ADLs, basic patient care techniques, and resident safety
Familiarity with infection control practices and documentation standards
Ability to observe, report, and escalate changes in patient condition
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced overnight environment
