Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition accurately and on time
• Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding while promoting dignity
• Communicate changes in resident status to nursing staff and document observations clearly
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
• Reliable, with the ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
• Time management and attention to detail during shift handoffs
