Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident observations
• Support a safe, clean and respectful environment for residents and team members
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete required health screenings
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
• Comfort working overnight shifts and reliable transportation to the facility

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred, CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care
• Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
• Good infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail with documentation and following care plans
