Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention through careful assistance and observation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident needs
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, and families to enhance care coordination
• Contribute to a positive, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Active or up-to-date state-required licenses and registrations
• Reliable background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate bedside manner
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Safe transfer and mobility techniques
• Infection control principles and PPE use
• Accurate charting and clear communication with clinical teams
• Teamwork, empathy, and patience in a fast-paced care setting
