Location: Belen, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM (overnight/night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Monitor and record resident vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and independence
Maintain accurate documentation of care and follow care plans
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and clinical staff to enhance resident well-being

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work overnight shifts and handle physical aspects of resident care
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding and trainings

Education

Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent training; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL support
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control practices and safety protocols
Clear communication and teamwork within a clinical setting
Attention to detail and dependable time management
