Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts with on-call requirements; weeknight call 1x/week; weekend call 1 weekend/month (Friday evening through Monday morning).

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing and monitoring of hemodynamics during cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventional procedures
Assist with conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, and cardiac drip administration
Manage balloon pumps and other advanced hemodynamic support devices
Collaborate with a team of two techs and an RN to ensure seamless case flow
Participate in on-call rotations for emergent inpatient cases

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification required (RCIS/CCT not accepted)
Active Fluoroscopy license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience preferred
Proficiency in cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, and neuro intervention cases
Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, cardiac drips, and balloon pumps

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Cath Lab procedures including STEMI care
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
Skilled in airway management and emergency response
Familiarity with cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps
Strong teamwork and communication skills
