Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Carmichael, CA
Start Date: 07-07-2026
End Date: 10-06-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: On-call as needed, approximately 12 days per month including weekends (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM); 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform scrub duties for cardiac and peripheral procedures, including PCI and STEMI cases
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and IR
- Operate Cerner EMR and other lab equipment
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Respond to on-call requests within 30 minutes
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
- Current RCIS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases
- No radiology license needed
- Willing to take call and work holidays as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Cerner EMR
- Strong scrub skills for cardiac and peripheral interventions
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
