Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Carmichael, California
Start Date: 07-07-2026
End Date: 10-06-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts with call as needed, averaging 12 days per month including at least one weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM), 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in for a variety of cardiac and peripheral procedures including PCI and STEMI cases
- Assist cardiologists with invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain the cath lab environment and equipment for optimal patient care
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth case flow averaging 8 procedures daily
- Respond to on-call needs with a 30-minute arrival window to support emergent cases
Qualifications
- RCIS certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience
- Proven scrub experience in cardiac and peripheral procedures
- Ability to work 30-minute response time for call coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac and peripheral cath lab procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to scrub both diagnostic and interventional cases
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with 8 cases per day on average
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
