Shift Type: Rotating call shifts, 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month; 36 hours per week, schedules vary

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro procedures
Monitor hemodynamics and assist with conscious and moderate sedation
Manage airway and administer cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate balloon pumps and other specialized cath lab equipment
Collaborate with a team of two techs and an RN per case, ensuring smooth procedural flow
Participate in on-call rotation for emergent and inpatient cases

Qualifications

Must have current cath lab experience - no first-time travelers accepted
Comfortable with conscious sedation, airway management, cardiac drips, and balloon pumps
Ability to scrub and monitor hemodynamics as needed
Willingness to take call 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions
Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
