Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 1x/week weeknight call and 1 weekend/month call (Friday evening through Monday AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Assist with STEMI cases and neuro interventions in a fast-paced environment
- Support conscious and moderate sedation alongside the RN team
- Manage cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
- Operate balloon pumps and ensure smooth procedural processes
- Collaborate with the Lead Tech on room assignments and case flow
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- Fluoro permit required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year of recent Cath Lab experience
- Comfortable with conscious sedation, airway management, and cardiac drips
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac and coronary procedures
- Vascular and peripheral interventions
- General IR and neuro intervention techniques
- STEMI receiving facility protocols
- Balloon pump operation and monitoring
