Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and the cath lab team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and imaging equipment for each case
• Monitor patient status, hemodynamics, and assist with vascular access when appropriate
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and patient care activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver efficient, compassionate care
• Participate in equipment checks, inventory management, and infection-control practices

Qualifications

• Current CVT/RCIS or equivalent cardiac cath lab certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or able to obtain promptly
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (per the posting) — experience with vascular access and hemodynamic monitoring a plus
• Valid state licensure where required and ability to meet facility credentialing timelines
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology or allied health program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with catheterization lab equipment, fluoroscopy and sterile technique
• Ability to read and interpret basic cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data
• Proficient in procedural documentation and supply utilization
• Good clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with physicians, nurses, and patients
