Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, competent nursing care to assigned patients during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the patient record
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and report concerns promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied staff to support continuity of care
• Perform timely and thorough documentation to maintain high standards of patient safety
• Educate patients and families in a clear, respectful way to support recovery and self-care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico is required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Previous LPN experience in a clinical setting preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-first attitude

Education

• Vocational Nursing diploma or equivalent
• Active LPN license in New Mexico

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and basic clinical monitoring skills
• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Comfortable with nighttime patient care routines and safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy overnight environment
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
