Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients
- Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to coordinate care
- Document care accurately in the patient record and follow facility protocols
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (required) — must be eligible to work in New Mexico
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain promptly
- Basic patient care experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
- Strong communication skills, compassion, and reliability
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
- Comfortable with vital signs, ADLs, and safe patient handling
- Familiarity with charting and following care plans (EHR experience a plus)
- Strong observational skills and ability to report changes accurately
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
