Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning for residents
- Assist nursing staff with treatments and maintain clear documentation
- Create a warm, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the clinical team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening per-diem shifts
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and safe transfer techniques
- Basic vital sign measurement and charting
- Infection control and resident safety best practices
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and staff
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
