Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility safely and respectfully
- Take and record basic vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Help maintain accurate, timely documentation and charting
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
- Support infection control practices and keep patient areas clean and safe
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to promote resident comfort and recovery
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — New Mexico certification preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working with adult patient populations
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with charting and basic documentation practices
- Understanding of infection prevention and safety procedures
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
