Shift Type: Rotating day shifts (8-hour, 10-hour or 12-hour options) with every-other-weekend coverage; includes 1 night on-call per week and 1 weekend on-call approximately every 6th weekend; call crew stays until all cases are complete and receives a day off after call (exact start/end times vary by assignment)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures in the cath lab and interventional radiology suites
- Operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment safely and follow radiation safety protocols (agency must provide rad badge)
- Prepare and maintain cath lab rooms and specialized equipment (IVUS, Rotablator, Impella, IABP, FFR, AngioJet, Laser) for high-volume caseloads
- Collaborate with cardiologists, respiratory therapists and the multidisciplinary team to manage critically ill and STEMI patients
- Monitor patients intra-procedurally and support post-procedure care, escalating concerns appropriately
- Complete charting in Cerner / MyJourney modules and ensure all documentation requirements are met prior to shift
- Participate in on-call rotations and remain on site as required until cases are complete
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab/interventional radiology experience
- Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, CRT and Fluoroscopy (RCIS not accepted)
- Cerner experience required — all MyJourney (Cerner) modules must be completed prior to arrival
- Comfortable caring for critically ill patients and participating in STEMI care
- Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation procedures required; Merge experience a plus
- Ability to complete 1–2 days of unit orientation; no floating required
Education
- BSN not required
- Relevant cardiovascular technologist training / certification or equivalent clinical experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures and workflows
- Fluoroscopy and X-ray operation and safety
- Cardiac catheterization, peripheral and coronary interventions
- Experience or familiarity with Siemens and Phillips imaging systems
- Hands-on knowledge of IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, Rotablator, AngioJet and Laser devices
- Critical care familiarity and comfort managing ventilated or unstable patients
- Electronic charting in Cerner / MyJourney and documentation best practices
- STEMI management and high-volume case handling
