Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the Lebanon center
- Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately and safely
- Assess and monitor patient status, reporting changes promptly to the team
- Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and support comfort and dignity
- Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up needs
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — class listed as LPN for this role
- Active license to practice in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain)
- Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on a per diem basis
- Strong clinical judgment, compassion, and reliable communication skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is commonly requested or preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid patient assessment and basic clinical procedures
- Safe medication administration and attention to detail
- Clear, timely documentation and charting skills
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
- Teamwork and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
