Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately within scope of practice
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care clearly in the patient record to ensure continuity and quality
- Assist with wound care, ADLs, and other clinical tasks to support patient recovery
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to create patient-centered plans
- Advocate for patients and their families while maintaining dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (New Hampshire or eligible to practice in NH)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Background check and drug screening per facility requirements
- Previous LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with wound care, IV accessory care, and common LPN procedures
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
