Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care that makes a real difference every shift.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders and facility policy.
• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly report clinical changes to the care team.
• Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate excellent patient care.
• Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate explanations and discharge instructions.
• Support infection prevention, safety protocols, and a calm, healing environment.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — New Hampshire license preferred or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred — long-term care, acute care, or similar.
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and delivering hands-on patient care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures.
• Solid assessment skills: vital signs, focused head-to-toe checks, and recognizing changes.
• Familiarity with charting and electronic health records for accurate documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team.
• Good prioritization and delegation to keep patient care safe and efficient.
