Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition accurately and timely
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Communicate clearly with the nursing team and report any concerns or changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete assigned charting tasks
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents and staff safe
• Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive care environment

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (Class: LNA) — eligible for NH and VT assignments (Licensed Nursing Assistant required)
• Previous experience in long-term care or related setting is a plus
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working night shifts on a per-diem basis

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and safe transfer techniques
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, feeding and toileting support
• Effective communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Infection control and standard precautions
