Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Closely monitor patients and telemetry to spot changes early and intervene promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond efficiently to emergent situations and escalate concerns to providers as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience (as indicated in the job posting)
• Experience or comfort working in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
• Ability to work night shifts and provide consistent, reliable coverage for the assignment

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required; ADN or BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfort with telemetry monitoring and progressive care patient needs
• Strong medication administration and documentation practices
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
