Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift), days vary

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care to long-term and rehab residents
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Perform timely patient assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to coordinate individualized care plans
Support admissions, discharges, and transitions with clear communication and professionalism
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and facility policies

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or equivalent
Comfortable working in a long-term care / rehabilitation setting
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Previous LTC/rehab experience preferred but per-diem friendly to experienced and returning clinicians

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN program for Licensed Practical Nurses
Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN) for Registered Nurses

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs and symptoms
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with families
Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
